Every company has a story, but ours starts with one person — someone who believed that quality craftsmanship and honest work would always find the right client. That belief carried him back home to Texas, and it still shapes how Cornerstone Building operates today.

Arnie leads Cornerstone Building the same way he approaches every project: with careful planning, clear communication, and a hands-on commitment to doing it right.
He stays involved from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, working directly with clients rather than handing projects off. Having worked on everything from entry-level homes to a high-rise in Manhattan, he brings the same discipline to a single remodel as he would to a large commercial build — nothing gets overlooked because of scale.
For Arnie, leading Cornerstone isn’t just running a business. It’s a continuation of the belief that started the company: that a home deserves a strong foundation, and the people building it should be worthy of the trust placed in them.

Building With Purpose
After more than a decade in real estate development and construction, Arnie Garcia realized the part of the work he loved most was the building itself — turning plans into places where people could live and gather. Throughout his career, Arnie has overseen more than $1 billion in residential and commercial construction across the southern United States. His experience spans more than 600 homes, Class A apartment communities, condominiums, student housing, and clubhouses — from entry-level homes for first-time buyers to the oversight of a high-rise project in Manhattan.
But Arnie wanted to bring that experience back home to Texas, where he was born and raised. He and his wife, Jackie, settled in New Berlin to raise their four children on a cattle ranch. Together, they started Cornerstone Building to help families and individuals build homes with careful attention to their needs, their budget, and the trust they place in their builder. Our faith shapes how we approach that responsibility. We believe a home deserves a strong foundation, and our work should be grounded in integrity, honesty, and care for the people who will live there.
