Do you build on my lot or your own?
Both. If you already own a lot, we’ll evaluate the site, review conditions like access, utilities, and zoning, and guide you through building successfully on your property. We also work with HOAs to help ensure plans meet community guidelines. Cornerstone has also built spec homes on lots we own, so we understand the full process either way.
Do I need my own building plans?
Not at all. You’re welcome to bring your own building plans, and we’ll review them and help guide the project from there. If you don’t have plans yet, our design services can help bring your ideas together into a plan that fits your property, lifestyle, needs, and budget.
Are you VA-Approved Builders?
Yes. We’re a VA-approved builder and are proud to help veterans build a home using their VA benefits. Financing is an important part of any project, so we also help all buyers better understand the financing process and connect it to their overall budget.
What areas do you serve?
We focus on Seguin, LaVernia, and Floresville, covering Wilson, Guadalupe, and Gonzales counties. We’re also willing to travel up to 60 miles from our home base in Seguin, TX (78155) for the right project.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Homes purchased with VA or FHA financing typically include a 2/10 home warranty — two years of coverage for workmanship and materials, and ten years for qualifying structural defects. We’ll walk you through the warranty process and help with any questions or claims that come up.
How much does it cost to build?
Barndominium projects can start around $150 per square foot with a practical floor plan and carefully chosen finishes, while site-built homes have started around $175 per square foot. These are examples, not fixed quotes — your final price depends on floor plan, finishes, site conditions, and what’s included in the build.
